In the final analysis, the competition among enterprises is that among talented persons in information economy age. Science and technology become the major factor to determine the result of competition. It goes without saying that the technical staff plays an important role in enterprise technical progressing. The research of the encouragement mechanism for technological staff is important to increase the satisfaction of their work.Based on the theories of encouragement, the paper finds out problem of the present encouragement mechanism by the research and analysis of the present situation of the technological staff in Tongchuan Transformer limited Company. Moreover aiming at these problem, the new encouragement mechanism for the technical staff is designed, which include salary system, job evaluation, performance evaluation, training, welfare, company culture, working life managing, joining work and communication, and other encouragement methods.The main contributions of this paper are summarized as follows:Questionnaire is designed aiming at the importance of encouraging factor and encouraging present situation of the technological staff in Tongchuan Transformer limited Company. Main problems are found out. Main encouragement factor is obtained. salary system is designed on the basis of thought of board-banding salary. job evaluation and performance evaluation system is designed at means of AHP. Other encouragement method such as training, welfare, is pointed out. Some policy suggestion relating to practical operation is advised.Conclusion of this paper is as follows: It is the lack of the scientific and perfect encouragement mechanism that the technological staff in Tongchuan Transformer limited Company are at a low level of motivation and go away. The encouragement mechanism is combined material encouragement with spirit encouragement, long-term encouragement with short-term encouragement, salary system with other encouragement method.The paper not only has some practical meaning for Tongchuan Transformer limited Company to improve the encouragement mechanism of technological staff, but also has some reference value for the similar enterprises.
