| Strategy influences an enterprise at large. Strategic decision plays a significent role in the development of an enterprise, even it can lead to its prosperity bankrupt. Any enterprise, no matter in its prime time or in the stage which struggle for survial, must pay attention to its own particular strategy in order to gain the final success, especially for hotel industry, which has a good occasion to develop, meanwhile, it also faces increasing competition.This paper introduces the general knowledge about ESM and hotel management briefly, which is the theoretical fundation for further investigation. Strategy management theory experienced several stages, such as from birth to establishment of bisic frame, to structure school, capabillity school, alliance school information school.But every theory of stragety management, which is distinctive of its particular environment and practice, has initiative significance and particular usage scope, therefore, this paper selected suitable SMT and models and tools to research in accordance with principle which is proper to therealistic condition of Huanghe Hotel.The paper analysizes the inner and outer environment of it by some relative data, information, PEST, Five Force model, next, strategic assessment is untertaken via EFE and IFE, by responding to the above analysis. On top of this, the strategic selection of Huanghe Hotel is made through SWOT and QSPM analysis. Finally, the paper puts forward suggestions in detail on the basis of the strageic development of the Hotel.Any theory can be dated back to practice. It won't be meaningful unless it is used in practice again and lead to success. No exception to SMT .Although the paper is made for Huanghe Hotel ,it will be also valuable if being applied to other similar hotels. |
