Study On Project Design Quality Management For Weatherstrip System Devlopment

As the development of China automobile industry, the launch speed of new car is getting extremely faster, the competition is getting severe. With the high volume, quality improvement is focused as highlight by each vehicle manufactory company. The assembly of vehicle is by a huge amount of out sourcing parts, which is complicated and various. The quality performance of outsourcing parts result in the full vehicle performance. The design quality management in development stage is the key point during full life cycle of product.In the paper, the author studies the design quality management during weather-strip system development project. Identify the voice of customer, import DFMEA concept, use project quality management tools and supplier control theory from project purchasing management. Establish a standard format and process for outsourcing parts development project.
