The Planning Research Of Areas Along Rivers In Taizhou

Under the background of economic globalization and regional economicintegration, urban competition means cities participate in global competition as regionaleconomies in a wider and open area instead of competition between individual cities. Socountries and regions pay universal attentions to the regional planning with the goal ofregional coordination development and sustainable development again.Malignant competitions between cities and areas and the phenomenon of repetitiveconstruction appear frequently in our country. Cities and local areas get short-terminterests by losing the whole regional interests and long-term interests. With the goal ofregional coordination development and sustainable development, local governments atdifferent levels aspire a good regional development environment and a regionalplanning which can balance the interests of all parties .Therefore, it is necessary toreference the theories and practical experiences in domestic and foreign and explore aregional coordination system in our country, in order to improve the capability ofregional sustainable development and the whole competitiveness .With the development of the Yangtze River Delta regional integration, areas inZhejiang province accelerate the speed into the Yangtze River Delta region. Theinternal imbalanced development in Taizhou creates a bad impression in the wholecompetitiveness and regional status of Taizhou in wider region. Based on analysisingadvanced theories, methods and practical experiences in domestic and foreigncomprehensively, researching the local ecologic strut condition in the areas along rivers,ensuring the basic ecological security pattern, paying attention to the developmentpotential and development aspirations of relatively backward areas, and exploring theeconomic ties and supporting conditions between areas along rivers, coastal areas andinland areas, this paper determines ecological limits and development power of the areas along rivers, and explores development strategy of the areas along rivers. Then itconstructs the development goal, mode and path of the urbanization andindustrialization in the areas along rivers.
