Performance appraisal is the premise of effective controllment and stimulation in company management. The core of enterprises management is the performance management of staffs and organism, staff performance is the guard for organism performance, the enterprises development should be at the same place with the staff's. But each enterprise has is different background and culture, there is not the most advanced or best performance management for them; they should choice the performance which is most suitable to themselves and their actual development stage. The index system and the evaluation methods are two main elements in the traditional comprehensive evaluation. In the traditional comprehensive evaluation, three stages have to be performed to accomplish the evaluations which are data processing, the index weight computing and comprehensive assessment. In the three steps of evaluation, fuzziness and uncertainty are unavoidable. So, traditional method may not achieve better results. At present, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) are widely used to evaluation performance. The main research methods, contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) In the part of introduction, this Research takes a brief summary of the characteristics and development process of performance evaluation, summarizes the classical models or theories of performance evaluation such as Balanced Scorecard Method, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, then makes a framework and the process of empirical analysis of this research.(2) Based on the BSC construct evaluation index system of company. Performance appraisal index of employee is obtained utilizing KPI and analyzing the circulation of working.(3) This paper employs analytic hierarchy process to determine the value of indexes at all levels. Based on hierarchic analysis principle, ascending hierarchic analysis structure for employees'performance appraisal is established, hence index system and relevant index weights for performance appraisal obtained.(4) Sum up measures to ensure successful implementation. This paper uses fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluation medium-grade management personnel of Group Company.
