Achieving a more balanced Sino-American trade relationship is of extreme importance to the economies of the United States and China and the world as a whole. The ever-increasing unbalance of Sino-American trade has resulted in frequent occurrence of trade friction, impacting strong, sustainable and balanced global economic growth. Therefore, exploring the main reason of China-US trade imbalance and how to achieve more balanced trade relations has become a major issue solved between the two countries.Specification analysis and empirical analysis have been reflected in the text. Theoretical and empirical analysis have shown that there exists the long term stable equilibrium relationship and mutually enhancing'amplifying effect'between the Unbalance of Sino-American Trade and United States control on export of hi-tech products to China. Control on export is the main reason triggering instead of exchange rate of RMB and aggravating the trade unbalance between the United States and China. Based on the principles of mutual respect and benefit for a win-win situation, the Sino-American trade unbalance could be resolved through induced and mandatory method urging the United States to put to action in releasing or even canceling its export control of hi-tech export to China.Innovation may be expressed in this article: first, analyzing the internal mechanism of export control upon China causing and intensifying the bilateral trade imbalance through the theory of comparative advantage and trade structure; Secondly, a comparative analysis of the U.S. and Chinese statistics in empirical part; Finally, depending on increasing supply and reducing demand upon export control to solve the unbalance between the U.S. and China.
