Compared with the logistics in the developed country in the world,China has a long way to go concerning the funds flow,business flow,information flow and logistics. The distances also exist regarding the information and network technology,delivery coverage and service quality. This paper analyses the purchasing pattern and procedure of Ebay,including the integration and cohesion with e-commerce,and the ways to realize the automation concerning the information and capital flows. With UPS as an example,this work also analyses the functions provided by the oversea e-commercial logistics companies on their websites. These functions include membership registration,direct business,package tracking,and time and cost calculation. Simultaneously,this study also analyses the purchasing pattern and procedure of domestic Taobao,and reviews the development status and level of domestic e-commercial logistics.Concerning the abroad and domestic developments of e-commercial logistics,the comparisons on informatization,automation and service quality are provided. After discusses and comparisons on these problems,this paper proposes a revolution suggestion to improve the international competitiveness of Chinese logistics companies. The feasibility analysis for it is also made. Aiming at the shortcomings existed,Chinese e-commerce and logistics should improve modern network and computer technologies,pay more attention on the automation construction,make efforts to integrate with the e-commerce platform,and take the lead in unbundling postage charges from sellers. Furthermore,the e-commerce and logistics in China should make a good effort in expending their service areas,balancing domestic delivery network distribution,increasing the oversea coverage,and improving the personnel quality of logistics service.
