A Study On Funds Management Of Petroleum Industry Group Company

Funds is acts like the blood for an enterprise.Funds flows in bisiness,investment, financing and pruduct operation, and the capitaol operation acts in hole the process of production and evry business activities , That makes funds management as the core of financial management in an enterprise group. Now funds management of petroleum enterprise groups, there exists many problems, such as the management methods backward, in too many debts and higher debt costs, a large number of accounts receivable and so on, result in liquidity shortages. Internal funds settlement system is not unified,and there is not a good unified funds management information platform. Because information is blocked, the financial data and funds management are not centralized, the decision makers of the group cannot fully grasp related information of the production and business operation process, so they cannot carry on effective management, supervision and control.To solve these problems, this paper, in two aspects--the group company funds organizing and running ,studies funds management of petroleum enterprise groups, puts forward that optimize the enterprise group need to ptimize its fund management mode, namely, to create funds management platform, to realize the centralized management of group's funds. From this Angle, the article takes CNPC for example and points out that relying on financial aid system platform and accounting information fusion system of thefinancial companies, the capital management platform should be integrated, the system construction and risk control system should be improved to establish a centralized comprehensive fund management system throughout all processes. Relying on funds management platform, business activities funds can be centralized. Relying on the internal management system, the investment capital management can be centralized. Raising funds at a lower financing cost proves CNPC centralized management plan is effective. Finally this paper points out that the petroleum industry group company funds management needs some improvements.
