Research On Supplier Classification For High-Tech Enterprise Based On Degree Of Interdependence

As main source of high-tech enterprise raw materials, suppliers'quality, delivery capability and other factors determine directly the final product, and affect the competitiveness of enterprises. Therefore, supplier plays an important role in supply chain management for high-tech enterprises. However, under supply chain, it is no longer applicable that using the same management mode to all suppliers, videlicet it is more effective to make a difference between different suppliers. To operate different management mode for different supplier, an appropriate supplier classification is the first mission. Based on the classification of suppliers, high-tech enterprises could implement different management strategies according to the characteristic of each supplier category, which shall reduce cost, and improve efficiency for enterprises.On the base of supplier management related theories, focusing on the high--tech enterprises, this paper lucubrates its characteristic and its speciality of supplied products, suppliers'requirement. And this paper analyses traditional supplier classification from the different views. On the view of the interdependence, using two-dimensional matrix method of Kraljic model as reference, according to the degree of interdependence between enterprise and supplier, high--tech enterprise suppliers are divided into four categories , which are mutual dependence,producer oriented, supplier oriented, mutual independence. It is theoretically established the supplier classification model of high--tech enterprise in this paper, moreover this paper compares four categories suppliers'characteristics and analyses their transformation.Afterwards, this paper studies the quantitative method of supplier classification for high--tech enterprises, by selecting two-dimension-indexe in the classification model, and using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to estimate ambilateral interdependence degree between enterprise and supplier. The category of the supplier could be defined according to interdependence degree.In the end, this paper studys empirically Shenzhou spacecraft suppliers using classification model in case study. Based on the characteristic of different supplier categories, different management strategies are proposed in detail. Synthesizing theory and practice, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, this paper has strong pertinence and practicability, and there are certain significance and reference value for Shenzhou spacecraft supplier management.
