Folklore tourism′s development requires two aspects: one is the folklore, whether it is historical,or present; the other is folklore study, not only referring to the abstraction of folklore,but also covering the folk life.China's long history, vast territory and large number of ethnic groups, create vast folklore and great results of folklore study. Folklorists lead the way of filklore′s change and application with scientific guidance,and obtain achievements of today's thriving folklore tourism.Folklore tourism is a modern business model,which is based on the development and utilization of folklore as a cultural tourism resource.Folklore tourism′s development bring about tourism destination′s folklore found, organized, transformed and exchanged. With this procedure,the destination′s folks show different responses,thereby result in subtle changes in the verbal and behavioral patterns.Beyond this, folklore tourism have impact on tourism destination′s environment, economy and others′aspects.In this context,paper explores the theory to the response of the destination′s folks.Locating in the same space,elapsing the same years,how the folks adjust themselves to the process of the globalization and modernization:the change in the folklore symbols and its transformation to display themselves adapting to the tourism need;the change from folk life which is the life-world of the folks,showcasing themselves against the changes in the tourism development. Paper selects the village in the edge area as the case study to reflect the impact of folklore tourism on destination′s change.
