| Financial management objective is the requirement and standard of the enterprise in the daily production and operation.It is important to set up a reasonable and feasible financial goal.In different countries enterprises choose varies of financial objectives in different times.The most typical financial management objectives include Profit Maximization, Shareholders wealth Maximization,Enterprise value Maximization and Stakeholder wealth Maximization.Ever financial management objective has its advantages and disadvantages and the applicable conditions.Based on the analysis of the American and Japan companies'corporate governance models,we find that the Shareholders wealth Maximization and the Enterprise value Maximization don't fit for our country's enterprises. Our country is the Socialist country and our economy has Socialist characteristics.We set up the public ownership of social productive materials which determines the socialist orientation of the market economy. In the primary stage of socialism, the level of productive forces and the people's living standards are both low.A series of acute contradiction between population,resource,environment and economic development has been the serious problem in human developing process in 20th century.In this economic environment enterprises have to set up a financial goal which could reflect socialist characteristics and meet the requirements of the harmonious and sustainable development.Enterprises'most important task will also be the making profits at this stage which could be the guarantee of the social development. In additional every enterprise should consider the social responsibility and make sure that each of the benefit-related unit will be considered in the enterprise's operations.In the new era enterprises'financial management objective should be based on profit satisfaction and include the implementation of social responsibility.At last financial management objective should be advancing with the time. |
