Empirical Study On Technological Capabilities Of Enterprises And The Foreigh Market Entry Mode

With the rapid development of economic globalization,many multinational companies swarm into Chinese market,making the domestic market gradually upgraded to international market. Facing opportunities and challenges,Chinese enterprises set off a wave of international operations ,local Chinese multinational corporations are gradually formed. However,there are still a large number of chinese enterprises hovering outside the overseas market ,or in low-end export trade entering overseas market,even in the overseas investment of chinese enterprises also encountering many difficulties.Investigating the reason,many enterprises make decisions without scientific analisis in choosing foreign market entry model,and getting failure finally.therefore,the choice of foreign market entry mode is becoming the most important issue to Chinese enterprises in internationalization process.and there are significant differences between Chinese enterprise and the west in the initial conditions,therefore we can not model the mature theories of the west ,to explore a the unique path entering the foreign market to Chinese enterprises becoming more urgent. The technological capabilities as the core of organizational capacity, will generate what effect to the choice of internationlization ? will information technology and ages of company generate effect to the relationship of the former?This research work is carried out around these issues.This article combs the literature of foreign market entry mode and technological capability ,through theoretical analysis of the mechanism what technological capabilities impacting on foreign market entry mode,also the mechanism what information capability and ages impacting on the relationship of the former,we raise six research hypotheses. According to the defination of variables,we selected 289 samples in six industries from Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchange,as data source. Through spss13.0 multiple regression analysis,all hypotheses received empirical support,and the conclusions as follows:(1)Technological capability has a significant positive effect to the choice of foreign entry mode,there existing a significant linear relationship between the former. The high the overall quality of technological human resoure ,the stronger the technological innovation,more companies tend to choose high control ,high resource commitments mode.(2)Enterprise information technology ability and the ages of the enterprise has a significant positive regulatory effect to the relationship between enterprise technological capability and foreign entry mode.
