The Risks And Its Control Research On Knowledge Transfer Of Open Innovation

Since Schumpeter brought forward the concept of innovation, innovation is still a focus of enterprises and countries. From Closed Innovation to Open Innovation, many notion of innovation are put forward, which aim at keeping sustained innovation. Open Innovation is an important field of innovation, which core notion is the inflow and outflow of source of innovation, and which is more open and strategic about knowledge. For that, knowledge transfer in the open innovation is a significant link, and it is also an effective way to realize the value of innovation. Knowledge transfer is an activity with risk, especially the transfer of intellectual property. Therefore, the research on the risk of knowledge transfer is of cardinal significance to realize the value of Open Innovation.This paper is aim to discussion the course and the sources of risk of knowledge transfer in the Open Innovation, and based on that, research the risks of knowledge transfer and methods of risk control. First, the paper makes a synthesis about the open innovation, knowledge transfer and the risk of knowledge transfer according to many literatures. Then, based on the theoretical discussion, a new knowledge transfer model and an analytical frame of the sources of risk are put forward to analyze the risks of knowledge transfer in Open Innovation. At last, the paper analyses the risks of knowledge transfer in Open Innovation and some measures to avoid these risks.
