Serious environmental problems have arisen along with the rapid global economic growth, also with the global population scale expanded unceasingly and the massive development and use of energy since 20th century. The concentration of CO2 has been elevating, which brings the problem of global warming and leads to a great challenge for human survival and development. Chinese government made the public commitment to the world at the 2009 Copenhagen climate conference, decided that by 2020 unit gross domestic product of greenhouse gas emissions should reduce 40% 45 percent than in 2005.Thus, to tackle climate change, low-carbon economy transformation is an inevitable trend.The data of CO2 emissions comes from building almost accounted for more than 50%, higher than which comes from transport and industrial fields. At the same time, according to the analysis, the decrease of building CO2 emissions can combine with building energy efficiency, which is most easily implemented and cost saving, so this paper selects the subject of "low-carbon architecture" to research. Low-carbon building has such traits as material and goods, so low-carbonization of construction needs to consider its material foundation. Moreover, its development and promotion follows the theory of supply and demand interaction on the basis of market. Then through the investigation of market,we find that the supply and demand of low-carbon building are insufficient at present. Finally, its deep reason is analyzed, on one hand the reason lies in its own low-carbonization performance is not apparent, on the other hand is due to the government absence causes the market mechanism imperfect.Subsequently, this paper puts forward some corresponding solutions. We can learn form its own material foundation and the interactions between various stages of low-carbon building development from the perspective of whole life cycle management, which commits to improve architectural low-carbon quality. Besides, we need to draw lessons from world experience, and rely on such three auxiliary systems as low-carbon concept, financial, technical support. Furthermore, the common function by main body of market is also very significant to build a benign interactive system of supply and demand in low-carbon construction market.To sum up, how to raise its low-carbonization performance and how to build a benign interactive system of supply and demand in low-carbon construction market are the core of this paper. The former aims to improve architectural low-carbon quality and stimulate the market demand, which is the basis of the latter, while the latter is the ultimate destination.
