The petroleum industry is a pillar industry of national economy for the development of one country's economy; it has the major impact to the state economy development, but also relates the national security and social stability. So the characteristic of petroleum resource has decided that enhancing the competitive power of petroleum company has the noticeable function for the development of state economy. With the unceasing opening of market and the increasingly integrated of world economy from 1970s, how to promote the international competitiveness of China's petroleum companies receive more and more value of business community and academic circle's. But so far, the study of the connotation, correlation theories, appraisal object, and target type and research technique about the competitive power of petroleum companies is not summering a consistent understanding, the research of internationalization management of China's petroleum companies is still at the initial development phase. So it has the vital practical significance and the theory guiding sense to study the method of evaluation method to improve the competitive power of petroleum companies.In order to enhance international competitiveness of China's petroleum companies, the author studied the present situation of the international competitiveness correlation theories foundation both in domestic and foreign, defined the petroleum companies'international competitiveness, through carrying on the superior inferiority analysis to each international competitiveness, finally selected the multi-level pessimistic association methods which is unified by the analytic hierarchy process and the pessimistic interrelatedness law are to evaluate each petroleum company's international competitiveness comprehensively. This article introduced China's petroleum companies'international management's development phase and the environment of competition both in domestic and foreign briefly, and carried on the superior inferiority analysis to the China's petroleum companies international competitiveness, summarized the characteristics of the petroleum companies'international competition to find the influence factors which have greater impact on competitiveness, laying a theoretical foundation for the following evaluation of petroleum companies'international competition. Analyzed superior inferiority in international competitiveness of our countries'petroleum companies, laid the rationale for following article about appraisal international competition of petroleum companies. Basing on the evaluation principle, this article researched from the enterprise stratification plane, selected the previous 6 non-state monopoly management petroleum companies in 2008 which is evaluated by the US "Petroleum Information Weekly" and CNPC, Sinopec, CNOOC total 9 petroleum companies as the evaluate objects, selected five indicators to construct evaluation model as target level, they are selection research and development producing capacity, market competition ability, resources idle capacity, production operation ability, utilization of capital ability, collects the most recent data of 20 target for model criteria level, utilized Multi-hierarchal Grey Relational Evaluation to evaluate each petroleum company's international competitiveness comprehensively,analyzed the comprehensive evaluation result, concluded that the order from high to low about these nine petroleum companies'synthesis international competitiveness place is Mobil, CNPC, BP, Shell, Chevron, CNOOC, Total, ConocoPhillips, Sinopec, China's petroleum companies have a large gap when comparing with the powerful large-scale transnational petroleum companies among the selection research and development producing capacity, market competition ability, production operation ability , utilization of capital ability, identify the key factors which are restrict the enhancement of China's petroleum companies international competitiveness, seek for the way to promote the international competitiveness of China's petroleum companies. |
