This paper put in small and medium-sized enterprise, research perspective of small and medium-sized enterprises listed company executive characteristics and performance relationship, theoretically analyzes the governance role and mechanism of the directors, supervisors and managers. Through empirical analysis, this paper discusses the impact of executives'features on performance.Choosing 146 listed small and medium-sized enterprises, this paper analyzes the current situation of executives'features. Based on theoretical analysis, this paper try to explore how executives'features will influence performance and discuss the implications of the empirical results.This paper theoretically analyzes the relationship between executives'features and performance and draws the following conclusions: the first, education level can be used as a symbol of ability, and can improve the decision-making power level and affect the performance. Education can accumulate the knowledge, improve personal ability, and train the professional skills. The second, appropriately prolonging executive's term can do good to efficient operation. Term can enhance mutual understanding between executives and master company issues. The third, equity can play a certain role. In the state-owned holding company and non-state-owned enterprises legal person holding company, strengthening this kind of incentive mode; In natural person holding company, Chairman and CEO are mostly family members, this shareholding mode has been a fact when company was founded. However, supervisors'shareholding has no beneficial effects on performance. Therefore, for natural person holding company, we should consider the effect of supervisors'shareholding and control its proportion of shareholding.
