Research On Regional Economic Difference And Coordinated Development Of Urumqi Metropolitan Areas

As an economic growth pole in Xinjiang, the economic development of Urumqi Metropolitan Areas has an important and significance economic status in Xinjiang, but the disparities and incoordination in regional economic development are obviously, its not only related the role of Urumqi Metropolitan Areas but will also ultimately affect the overall strength development and improvement of the whole metropolitan areas of Urumqi. Therefore, studying how to promote the coordination economic development of Urumqi metropolitan areas has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper takes how to promote regional economic coordinate development in Urumqi Metropolitan Areas as research purposes and takes the coordinate regional economy development as main line. On the basis of review existing research results at home and abroad, firstly, from the viewpoint of system theory, using of analysis and synthesis, characterization and quantitative, and inductive and deductive approach, combining the "Rule of Thirds" thinking in socio-economic system, with the actual situation, the two sets of (county, region)regional economic coordinated development index system was constructed in the economic development in Urumqi Metropolitan Areas; Secondly, using principal component analysis, cluster analysis, linear regression, time series principal component analysis and fuzzy methods and so on, selecting the appropriate regional economic development evaluation model, systematic analysis was conducted in the metropolitan areas of Urumqi years from 2007 -2009 Economic Development District from temporal-spatial dimension using SPSS statistical analysis software. The research found that: The existence of large spatial and temporal differences in regional economic development of in spatial and temporal distribution in Urumqi Metropolitan Areas were explicitly pointed out .Its main features are: In spatial and temporal dimension, there exist large difference in regional economic development, and the level of coordination development between the regional systems is not high in Urumqi Metropolitan. Areas .The overall coordination of regional economic development in Urumqi Metropolitan Areas shows the decreasing structure that high in the middle and low around the circle and the incoordination of regional economic development was significantly. According to the evaluation results, the main factors cause and effect the coordination economic development of Urumqi metropolitan Areas were analyzed. Five Urumqi Metropolitan Areas regional economic development countermeasures are put forward to support and ensure the coordinated development of regional economy. Change the concept of development, and strengthening the concept of coordinated regional economic development; Accelerate the transformation of economic development and optimize industrial structure; Make efforts to develop industries with local advantages and promote the transformation of resource advantages into economic advantages; Focus on the coordinated development of regional subsystems; Strengthen policy support to ensure the coordinated development of regional economy.
