No matter in the developed or developing countries, economic growth as the development problems, has a fairly important role. And energy has undoubtedly increased role for economic development. But recently, parts of the country's situation are stable and its oil exports share of the international market make oil price fluctuations. On the other hand, after 2009 Copenhagen World Climate Conference, many countries have adopted more active measures to achieve emissions reduction and energy conservation. In this way, nations take more strength on policies and investment in renewable development. And renewable energy sources as a traditional alternative energy is growth 1.7% annual. At present, many scholars had done a lot of research about the relationg between energy consumption and economic growth. They make use of energy, GDP, labor and capital stocks to reach haw can energy consumption affect to economic growth. The study on the basis of our predecessors, takes use of DEA analysis the energy efficiency of 40 countries. We analysis the relations among renewable energy and energy efficiency, economy with GDP, labor, capital stocks, the main energy, proportion of traditional energy ,proportion of renewable energy, proportion of hydro fuel and proportion of combustible. And the research shows that renewable energy consumption is better to improve efficiency, and renewable energy has significantly enhanced role to economic growth. When the sample countries are divided into two sample group based on economic development, the enhanced role of renewable consumptio to economic is not conspicuous. This paper analysis the impact of China and USA renewable energy consumption to economic growth with Cointegration Analysis, Granger causality, EMC model and VAR model. All of these Research basis the data of 1980-2007. The analysis shows that both countries have cointegration rule, and the survey shows that Chinese renewable energy consumption and economic growth with two-way causality, renewable energy consumption and economic growth is not a causal relationship. ECM model shows that renewable energy consumption has a positive role to economic growth in short-term. Part of difference between the two countries is explained, I hope these can interpret the difference between economic growths. In the last of this paper, proposals is given to promote renewable energy use.
