Meanwhile, it also points out their achievements and inadequacies. So the below is based on it. Secondly, it describes the theories of outward direct investment and industrial structure adjustment, especially focuses on the industrial structure adjustment. Moreover, it analyzes their transmission mechanism. Then, it introduces the current situation about outward direct investment and the process of the industrial structure in Liaoning. In addition, it points out that outward direct investment plays an important role in the industrial structure adjustment. Next, it sets up a time series model, and gives an empirical analysis. The last, on the base of the theoretical analysis and empirical results, according to the actual situation of Liaoning, it gives some proposals to promote industrial restructuring using outward direct investment.On the base of the theoretical analysis and empirical results, we know that outward direct investment has an effect on the industrial structure adjustment, and offers some proposals, in the hope of providing a useful reference.
