Middle-level managers as the backbone for power generation enterprises, is the effective implementation of the enterprise, efficient completion of various tasks and continuously improve the management level of enterprises vital force. But the power generation enterprise performance management of middle-level managers is unsatisfactory situation, the general lack of effective performance management tools, can not adapt and meet the management and development needs. Result of power generation enterprise middle-level managers of perfonnance appraisal system study has important practical significance, not only for power generation enterprises to enhance human resource management level, is more important for the selection, appraisal and training of cadres to provide fundamental basis, for the survival, development and growth of enterprises discover talents, cultivating talents, keeping talents.The thesis discusses the basic theories of perfonnance management and perfonnance appraisal deeply, and clarifies the important function of performance appraisal in the Human Resource Management (HRM) in an organization. The thesis emphasizes that performance appraisal is an important management revolution in an enterprise, and designs an effective and practical performance appraisal system for the middle-level executives in Baishan Hydropower Plant according to its actual practice, which may provide the valid guarantee for the realization of the strategic target of the enterprise.Due to the middle-level executives'comprehensive evaluation of performance appraisal involves many factors, to enable the subjectivity and objectivity combine, the thesis introduced 360 degrees assessment method into the performance appraisal comprehensive evaluation method of middle-level executives, and use middle-level executives performance evaluation of Baishan Hydropower Plant as an example to do empirical research, and carry on the comprehensive evaluation, thereby improve the rationality. The research of middle-level executives' perfonnance evaluation of Baishan Hydropower Plant improved the overall management ability and the cohesion of the whole staff, make it efficient to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of middle-level executives, promote the development of corporation and improve the management level of the enterprise.
