The Progress And Economic Evaluation Of Agricultural Mechanization In Northeast Area

Agricultural mechanization can measure the development level of agricultural modernization and reflect the course of agricultural modernization. The northeast region is the national strategy base for commercial grain. The northeast region is also the major grain-producing areas. It is related to national food security and social stability to some extent. Promoting the development of agricultural mechanization in northeast China have an important practical significance in the new situation of revitalizing the northeast old industrial base and building a socialist new countryside.This article, based on 1994-2008 data from Heilongjiang Province, establish a logarithmic production function model with Eviews6.0 software. The variable is agricultural machinery inputs and labor inputs. This article calculate the substitution elasticity of agricultural machinery to farm labor, and the results show that between the agricultural machinery and farm labor exist the very strong relationship. Then calculate the contribution rate of agricultural machinery to grain production in Heilongjiang Province in 2008. The result is 20.84%. These results show that the substitution of agricultural machinery to farm labor is feasible. Finally, this article analyzes the restricting factor of the development of agricultural mechanization in northeast region, and analyzes the form of agricultural machinery cooperation in northeast region.
