Research On The Relationship Of Spatial Structrue Between Highway Network And Urban System In Yangtze River Delta

Highway is not only an important symbol of transportation modernization, but also a prominent symbol of national and regional modernization level. Highway constantly network and informatization development makes the structure of modern urban space from a closed to an open structure. The emergence of urban centers has become an important symbol of the modern urban spatial development. The construction and improvement of the highway network promotes the spatial structure of towns group organized rationally.As one of the the most economically developed regions, Yangtze River Delta region has given high priority on the highway network planning and urban planning.Therefore, the study on the relationship between the highway network and the urban system will have very important significance on the interactive development of the highway network and the urban system in the future. There are seven characters in this thesis.The first and the second chapter introduces the research background, the research status at home and abroad, the research programs and the theoretical basis.The third chapter introduces the status of the construction of the highway network and the urban system in Yangtze River Delta. Also introduces their spatial structure. Then indicates the development level and the spatial influence of the both.The fourth and the fifth chapter analysises the spatial structure of the highway network and the urban system in Yangtze River Delta by the method of the fractal dimension calculation.The sixth chapter measures the interrelationships of the spatial structure between the highway network and the urban system in Yangtze River Delta by using the correlation dimension.The seventh chapter summarizes the rationality and the problems of the spatial structure between the highway network and the urban system in Yangtze River Delta. Then make further recommendations and comments based on the results of analysis.
