Since reform and opening, the rapid development of agricultural economy, gradually optimize the industrial structure of agriculture, fisheries development has made substantial progress. Fisheries as an important component of the agricultural, agricultural supply and the protection of the diversity of food, absorb a large number of rural labor force engaged in fishery production, adjusting the agricultural structure, develop the rural economy and increasing rural incomes has an important role.Inner Mongolia is located in the interior regions can develop aquaculture and inland fisheries, inland fisheries, and has less pollution of fishing waters, the waters of varying types, location, production and market potential advantages of such development. It is in active play to these strengths, based on the Inner fisheries have some development, but in general there are still some problems, such as fisheries lack of funds, weak infrastructure, water, bad habitat destruction, fisheries, processing deficiencies, fisheries cooperative economic organizations are not sound, aquatic products market is imperfect, irrational industrial structure, fisheries, fishery resources, not high efficiency. These problems have constrained the further development of the fishing industry in Inner Mongolia, which is necessary to study the issue. This is the status of fisheries development in the Inner Mongolia and advantages described, based on analysis of constraints in fisheries development, puts forward corresponding countermeasures. This is not only the promotion of sustainable fisheries and healthy development of Inner Mongolia in the future to improve the ability of fishermen to participate in the market economy and increasing the income of fishermen has certain significance, but also for government departments to develop policies on fisheries and healthy development of some practical value.
