Study On Optimizing Of The Industrial Structure In Baotou

Since economy develops with the continuous adjustment and optimization of its structure, optimizing the industrial structure and promoting the industrial upgrading have become common laws of the contemporary world economic development. To Baotou, one of the old industrial bases, it is an urgent subject to be studied on that how to seize the good development opportunities of the accelerated industrial upgrading in the autonomous region and even in the country, how to take full advantage of the favorable conditions, such as a solid industrial foundation and its superior resources, and how to grasp the variations of the industrial structure, to smoothly fulfill the optimization and upgrading, and to promote the realization of the new economic leap.Based on the related theory and methodology on industrial structure, this paper has objectively analysed industrial structure in Baotou, using the method with a series of combinations:theoretical analysis with empirical analysis, quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis, and studies on current situation wi th that o n countermeasures. With t he u se of S WOT analysis, analyzes favorable and unfavorable factors of industrial structure optimization. Combined with the industrial development practice in Baotou, puts forward the strategic conception on industrial structure optimization heavy-chemistry industrialization. Based on above analysis, local characteristics and competitive industries in Baotou have been concluded. Finally several policy suggestions on how to promote the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure are presented as well. This thesis is divided into seven chapters.Chapter One, introduces the purpose, significance, research methods and writing ideas of this thesis, and summarizes current research developments and progress by analyzing domestic and international relevant research.Chapter Two, analyzes the related theory on industrial structure, which provides theoretical foundation and support for optimization of industrial structure in Baotou city.Chapter Three, carries on in-depth analysis to the present situation of industrial structure in Baotou, and summarizes some questions in the analysis foundation which the industrial structure exists at present.Chapter Four, analyzes the superiority conditions and the restriction factors, the opportunities and threats from external environment which the optimization of industrial structure is facing.Chapter Five, By the above analysis, puts forward the guidance ideas, principles and targets in the industrial structure adjustment, and discusses blazing a new road to industrialization featuring high scientific and technological content, good economic returns, low resources consumption, which is necessary for Baotou to realize smoothly industrial structure optimization.Chapter Six, Based on the result of industry characteristic industries selection, provides the strategic focus and policy recommendations for the optimization of industrial structure in Baotou.
