The region of Inner Mongolia is both the ecological barriers and a resource pool of our country. Since entering new century, based on abundant natural resources, the scale of Inner Mongolia regional investment grows rapidly, and economy continues high growth and presents strong development momentum. From 2002 to 2009, the growth rate of economic development remains the first in the country for eight consecutive years. However, with the high-speed economic growth, pastoral incomes does not synchronize; and this put up significant inconsistencies. This desynchrony resulting in most of the pastoralists did not fully share the benefits brought by economic development, or even part of the pastoralists' living standards decline, and dampened the enthusiasm of pastoralists participating in reform and produce. This will be not conducive to social stability and unity, either to balanced and sustainable development of economic and society. Therefore, it is necessary to study how the Industrial and Mining Development in the Steppe Region of Inner Mongolia impact on the Economic Growth and incomes of pastoralists. It also has a positive significance the for government adjusting its relevant policies, rationalizing the relationship between the economic growth and pastoral income, improving the living standards of pastoralists, and maintain prosperity and border areas stabilityThis paper selects hulunboir grassland and xilingol grassland as research sample area, and adopts the anthropological field research method and economic analysis method for case study. Through analysis of the sample data, we study on relations between economic growth and pastoral incomes of the industrial and mining development in the steppe region of Inner Mongolia.
