The livelihood of the herdsmen in the pastoral areas of Inner Mongolia has always been an important topic of concern to academic and political circles.There are many policies at the central and local levels that benefit pastoralists.From the perspective of short-term benefits,these policies do have a significant effect on promoting the income of pastoralists.Double predicament.Therefore,how to give full play to the role of social policies in promoting and guiding economic development is of great significance to the realization of sustainable livelihoods of herdsmen and the stable development of pastoral areas.Through the evidence-based social work orientation,on the basis of sorting out the current Inner Mongolia pastoral area development policies,it reveals the relationship between developmental social policies and sustainable livelihood capital,and use the existing statistical data — Inner Mongolia University Social Survey Database(CNMASS)in the ethnic minority areas of northern China to analyze thelivelihood capital of herders.Among them,in terms of natural capital,the ecological environment in Inner Mongolia 's pastoral areas has deteriorated,natural disasters have occurred frequently,and the quality of pastures has declined.Aging exceeds national aging standards;in terms of physical capital,although herders have improved their production and life,they also reflect the herdsmen 's growing dependence on animal husbandry livelihoods;in terms of financial capital,pastoralists in pastoral areas in Inner Mongolia face high consumption,high investment,and high The problem of debt;in terms of social capital,the pastoral communities in Inner Mongolia lack cultural and recreational facilities,the cooperative organizations in the pastoral areas have developed slowly,and the mutual assistance among the pastoral communities is weak.
