The study on tourist satisfaction has always been a hot topic since 1970s. The domestic and oversea scholars have done a more in-depth research on its definition, formation, influencing factors and evaluation methods. This thesis focused on the tourist satisfaction measurement methods. By using the online tourists' reviews and comments to discover the satisfactory level of the destination, the author found that this new method could be a useful complement to the questionnaire survey. An empirical research on the tourists'satisfactory level of Shanghai has been conducted and 765 online reviews and comments were put into the database to be analyzed. The conclusion proved that content analysis is a significant method to converse the qualitative data into quantitative data. To get tourists' satisfactory level from online reviews is a useful method. |
