In this paper, from the perspective of the theory of club goods, the author took nine provincial trade associations in Guangdong in firms of theirs service provision as research objects, and analyzed the relationship between trade associations and member firms in information services, expanding markets, skill training and trade consulting. The author found that investigating and analyzing in those nine provincial trade associations revealed large disparities which is caused by traditional political culture, the system of administrative control, and trade associations'own capabilities, in the demand and supply of current trade associations and enterprise, reflected in: lacking of service consciousness, narrowing in community service, simplifying service type, degrading standard of service.
