Since the "11th five-year plan", the State Grid Corporation has guided by the scientific thought of development and made sure to construct a modernized company with strong development strategic objective, the full went ahead with collectivize operation, intensive development, management, standardization construction. The ability of optimum distribution of resources and the capacity of management and development all increased substantially. In the modern enterprise, performance management which is a tool of improving enterprise and employee performance is becoming more and more important. However, in reality, many of the grid enterprises explore for their suitable performance management systems. But the initial stage of performance assessment often becomes "goes through the motions". In the process of Performance evaluation, there are many problems. The function of Performance evaluation is not play an important part, even opposite. This paper bases on the design research of power supply enterprises' performance management system. From the current situation and existing problems to the connotation of performance management, the intensive management system of human resources, horizontal integration, vertical breakthrough, is explored. And then, through using some cases and the experience of a selected spot to promote the work in the entire area, the performance management problem is studied intensively to formulate corresponding optimization measures and to construct the process and methods of performance management system.
