The Valuation Mode Based On The Engineering Claim Game Analysis And Research

The engineering claim is a normal economic phenomenon which may happen in every stage of engineering instruction. For engineering, since the technology is more and more complex, the scale is larger and larger, and the construction is more and more difficult, various problems caused by a single factor or multiple factors between the contract parties lead to an engineering claim event. Meanwhile, the understandings of loss are different for the two parties due to different angles and purposes. Then, what can a project owner do to establish a more advantageous position in the management of engineer construction?The negotiation of the claim is of utmost importance to both contract parties after the occurrence of the claim event. The contractor would like to reduce loss by negotiation while the project owner would like to avoid or transfer the risk to decrease the construction cost. Both of them execute the strategy to one's own favor. The tactics can be considered as a typical Two-person Zero-sum in Finite Games. In this text, we have made a bargaining game model in the process of claim negotiation between the project owner and the contractor. We also improve the finite alternating-offer bargaining game model by the Bayes rule; propose a mathematical method to analyze the model by Bayes theory; analyze the strategies token by the two parties. These measures are expected to solve the conflicts in the claim event rapidly, rationally and efficiently, and then raise the efficiency of the construction.We have described the history and current situation of the research on engineering claim at home and abroad in this text. We've also made a brief description of the applied current situation of game theory in the research; proposed the meaning, train of thought and method of the research; researched the engineering claim management in the mode of evaluation with bill of quantity, including the main contract relationship, new expressions of the claim, methods to avoid and transfer the claim, the application of Bayes theory which refers to the game's abstract, history, development and analysis. In the analysis, the overview of Bayes theory, the basic process of decision making as well as applied way and program are illustrated. The negotiation decision, the modeling of bargaining game is also referred to.In the conclusion, in order to combined Bayes theory with the basic process of decision, I have standed on the project owners'angle and have proposed the applied method and program; analyze the negotiation process in detail; Meanwhile, I have come up with the mathematical methods of bargaining game model during the negotiation of the claim and the solution which are amended by Bayes law, to look for the Pareto Optimality with specific engineering. The project owners can regard it as the heart boundaries during the negotiation of the claim, and make out the corresponding strategies. Through these measure are expected to solve the conflicts in the claim event rapidly, rationally and efficiently, protect the legitimate interests of the project owners and help effectively manage of the project owners.
