Research On The Optimization Of Supply Chain Network Based On Postponement Manufacturing

ABSTRACT:With the continuous progress of science and technology, the deepening of economic globalization and the rapid development of logistics industry, customer demand has been showing the trend of diversity more and more obviously. Postponement strategy is an important means to respond to the trend, but the application of the strategy also makes supply chain network more complex and thus makes the network optimization more difficult. This paper first analyzes the form and implementation conditions of postponement strategy in the supply chain, defined the principles and influencing factors of the supply chain network optimization based on postponement manufacturing, and then analyzes the mechanism how the postponement manufacturing strategy impacts supply chain network optimization from four aspects of operation mode of the supply chain, the operating costs, customer service and the competitiveness of the supply chain network. Then this paper summed up the main steps of supply chain network optimization based on postponement manufacturing. On this basis, this paper establishes a supply chain network optimization model based on postponement manufacturing using mixed integer programming method. This model considers all aspects of the impact of postponement manufacturing on the supply chain operating costs and customer service, and realizes the system optimization of supply chain network under the premise of certain level of customer service. At last, this paper makes a numerical simulation analysis of the model, and this case further demonstrates the scientific nature and feasibility of the model.
