Study Of County Urban System Development

Whether the scale, functional and spaace structure of county urban system is reasonable or not, it has an important influence on the economic and social development of the region. County urban system as the basis of the larger cities regional urban system, is most closely connected parts of urban and rural areas, and its development for urban and rural development and promote economic and social development of the county has an important role. Located in Shandong, Xintai City is a county-level city which has a fast economic development. Because of its diverse topography and rich in resources, the overall development of higher and uneven development within the department, so that Xintai City in the research of economic and social development of our county has quite representative and typical. In this paper, based on previous studies, through analysis of relevant concepts and theories, using SPSS statistical software and other methods to study the development of the urban system in Xintai City and to build rational urban system put forward relevant suggestions.This paper analyzes two aspects of background conditions of urban system development in Xintai City, in order to through exploring the historical development experience and realistic basis to grasp the development trend of urban system in Xintai City. First is about historical evolution the development of urban system in Xintai City, through the historical development and changes of dynasties to understand the development of Xintai City. The second is from regional conditions, natural resource conditions and socio-economic conditions of the three aspects to analysis the urban system development of Xintai basis in reality. Then, by collecting relevant data to establish the evaluation index system and using the principal component analysis to evaluate the overall strength of the towns in Xintai City in order to reveal the future trends in urban development.Then the structure of urban system in Xintai City status and problems were analyzed. The first degree by Urban Primacy Index and other methods, we get the questions that the percentage of people in center city is too large, the number of large towns and medium-sized towns are too , small towns an excessive number of and problem too small towns. By Location Quotient and Nelson Statistical Analysis, we get the questions that the leading industry does not come to prominence, the town's leading industry sectors to be convergence and degree of specialization of urban functions is not obvious. Through a summary of distribution of space structure of urban system, and use gravity model to calculate the gravity from Qingyun and Xinwen to the other towns, then come to the uneven distribution of towns, large differences in regional economic development, lack coordination of space, and space structure of urban system is profound effected by the distribution of mineral resources.Finally, for the various problems of urban system in Xintai City, we propose to construct a reasonable goal of the county urban system, to improve the capital supply system of urban construction, enhance the construction of industrial parks, accelerate household registration system reform and other related suggestions.
