A Chinese saying goes that the people foodstuff is all-important. We focus on what we eat everyday. In daily life, the food's producing workshop is the kitchen, and the kitchen will be an important place to show pepole's the living standard and the culture taste. Since the ancient times, the human had made lots of utensils to make the food producing conveniently.The social enters an information era, following the new economic ear. People are feeling the change from the new technology everywhere, these changing make the life more comfortable and convenient. This paper focuses dining utensils, mainly studies the kitchenware design's effection that bring from all changing of new economic era, and its inevitable trend that lead by the creative technology.The science and technology develops very rapidly, enters into the life as possible as quickly, and turns into productivity and economic effectiveness. Lots of thing around us are progressing towards electronization, informationization, multi-midia with each passing day. Although the traditional design concept not only is the result from years of practice and experience and long continual development, but is researched and used by stylist, especially in the kitchenware's design, but it seldom touches the technique knowledge in shape, color, ergonomics, etc. Obviously, it can't be geared to the era that always following the traditional design concept. The typical characteristic of new economic era is not only the technology developing rapidly, but its industrialization expands at an amazing speed. It will be valuable and significant to using the new technology into the industry and life. Kitchenware industry should keep up with the trend of the era, try to increase the proportion with technology content in the design process, make the shape, structure, material selection, processing technic, and originality climb a new ladder, in order to make the kitchenware design open a new chapter.It is closely connected between culture and product design. In today's society, the economic rapid development will affect, even change a lot of people's ideas, so we have to fully consider these changing of culture and consumer psychology in our design. Many views and requirements for traditional things are changing. People begin to want changing the complex and boring work in kitchen, and hope to make them relieve pressure through cooking food, come back to happy time like a clildren. The kitchenware becomes the important media as an information carrier, is responsible for delivering these good wishes and delight of life to people. Only when analysing completely and totally these demands in new economic era, do we design the kitchenware what people want.This paper tries to analyze people's emotional appeals and demands, coming from the technology development and the consumer psychology in the new economic era. The traditional design theory with amounts of new technology using in the kitchenware design, will make it multimedia, easy-handling, at the same time fitting the emotion demands of interest. The result of the study will have the certain guiding significance, and provide the new ideas for designing the future kitchenware.
