First this paper analyzes the theory of international competitive advantage and the present situation of creative industry, then do empirical research to influence factor of competitive advantage in china with the combination of the characteristic of the creative industry. On this basis, this paper calculates the value of the International Market Share, Trade Competition and Revealed Comparative Advantage. And discuss the international competitive advantage of creative goods, creative services and segmented creative industry. Then we compare the TC, Q and RCA with the USA, England and Japan. Eventually, our creative industries as a whole has a strong competitive advantage, but mainly concentrated in the Art Crafts, design and other commodities of low value-added and low-creative elements, and Film, Performing Arts, and related services at a competitive disadvantage. The value chain of our creative industries is still in the middle position of the "smiling curve".Finally, this paper offers some advices on how to make a unified strategic plan, to improve intellectual property protection system, to provide financial capital services for industry and to strengthen innovation personnel training.
