With the development of computer technology, especially the multimedia and network technology, the traditional learning mode has been not able to satisfy user's strong demand of knowledge, and web-based collaborative learning has become a major learning mode. Under network environment, time, space and geography distribution is allowed during the collaborative learning process, and their interactions could occur simultaneously or asynchronously. The process of interaction is also the learning process. A lot of audio, video and free text messages are generated during the interaction process. The text message is studied in this paper. The information produced during the interactive process can be uploaded to the database, which would help to enrich and update study resources, achieving effective sharing.Interaction information is usually chaotic, and the useful information for users is distributed in different locations, and only limited information is required. All of these go against the user's resource sharing, reducing the user's learning efficiency. In order to address these problems, some automation tools are urgently needed to help people find out the really usefully information. So, information extraction (IE) technology which is a practical task-oriented document understanding technology is introduced in this paper. Factual information can be directly fetched from the natural language by using IE technology. The extracted information is usually described by structured form and can be stored directly in database, for the user's inquiry, deep text mining, and automatic answering. Combination of keywords and wildcard sequence as a template is used by some systems, but there are some significant limitations of this structure, mainly in terms of the disorder and polysemy, i.e. there is no fixed order among words and different order has different meaning. In order to solve this problem, Ontology technology is introduced into the information extraction system, which could improve the situation. Ontology is general for a particular area, so in this paper, we proposed a new method for domain ontology construction. On this basis, combined with Chinese word segmentation skills, designed the information extraction system based on ontology. The computer maintenance ontology is structured by using Protégé4.0, and stored in database as well as data reading by using Jena tools. Key technologies used in this paper include filtering, Chinese word segmentation, ontology build and so on. The results showed that the efficiency of collaborative learning and resource utilization are significantly improved by applying the ontology-based collaborative learning interactive information processing system.
