Empirical Study On Influences Of The Relationship Between Individuals To Tacit Knowledge Sharing In Informal Groups

With the advent of the knowledge-based economy era and the rise of knowledge management, knowledge had become the critical soft resources establishing enterprise core competitiveness. Meanwhile, knowledge sharing had become the core content of knowledge management. Because of its own features, tacit knowledge sharing has many obstacles. As the important supply of formal organization structure, informal organizations have good knowledge spread and sharing function. Especially in individual level, informal group has become the important medium of tacit knowledge transfer.Relation has been playing an important role in Chinese social life. From the Guanxi perspective, the purpose of this research is to explore the function mechanism of the relations- hip between individuals on their willingness and motivation of tacit knowledge sharing. This article uses obligational guanxi, expressive guanxi and instructive guanxi to measure the relationship between individuals.Firstly, this paper made a literature review on informal group theory, Guanxi theory and tacit knowledge theory, then put forward the theoretical model and relevant hypothesis. Secondly, according to the assumptions, this article carried on the design, questionnaire issuing and data collection. Finally, the article has done an empirical research of assumption model through the mathematical statistics analysis.The methods use to include correlation analysis, ANOVA analysis and path analysis. Through the above analysis, come to the following conclusion. The obligational guanxi and expressive guanxi between individuals have positive influences upon tacit knowledge sharing motivation and willingness. On the contrary, the instructive guanxi has negative influences upon tacit knowledge sharing.This research has practical significance in promoting tacit knowledge sharing and causing attention of enterprise on informal organizations. Of course, this study still exist deficiencies, needs to be more thorough subsequent research.
