The inbound tourism of China developed rapidly in the past twenty years. The receipts and the number of inbound tourists have made a major breakthrough. The number of tourists from Asia, Europe and America are increasing. The purpose of tourism is diversifying, such as sightseeing, leisure, conference, business, visiting friends. As a big economy and tourism province, Zhejiang develops rapidly and its inbound tourism industry gains momentum, its number of received inbound tourists ranked second in China last year. It has become a vanguard of inbound tourism in China. But there are increasingly prominent non-equilibrium problems of inbound tourism across Zhejiang province, although it relates to some unavoidable factors including the development of tourism industry, resource conditions and transportation conditions, we should highly focus on the existence and change of non-equilibrium in the background of the external influencing factors have been changed, especially when Zhejiang province comprehensively deepens the reform and opening up and internationalization policy. The paper takes Zhejiang province as a example to explore the characteristics of non-equilibrium of inbound tourism, and hope to provide a reference for our country. The paper refers to the statistics standards of the National Tourism Administration of China, choosing tourism foreign exchange earnings from 1999 to 2009 as the research index and using standard deviation, coefficient of variation, the relative development rate, economic district and Boston Matrix and some other quantitative methods to analysis non-equilibrium of inbound tourism in Zhejiang province. About the spatial characteristics we concluded above, the paper continues to analysis the influencing factors by using factor analysis method. First, we choose 11 factors which relate to the inbound tourism closely, and then use SPSS software to extract three main factors, named as economy and opening up factor, industrial strength factor and accessibility factor. At last we elaborate on the influence that the regional economic and social conditions, the development of tourism industry and regional transportation development impact on the inbound tourism. We found that the results meet the assumptions well and fit with the objective reality.Although non-equilibrium is one of the characteristics of regional economic development. But with the development of economy and society and the influencing factors, optimizing the spatial structure of regional economic has become a inevitable trend for comprehensive and sustainable development. According to the research of spatial characteristics and influencing factors of Zhejiang inbound tourism, combined with the analysis of main factors and developing trends of regional inbound tourism, the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to optimize the spatial structure at last, hoping to provide reference about policies and strategies making for the government and enterprises.
