The Study Of The Chinese Rural Individual Plot System

The Rural Individual Plot system is a special land management system which formed in 50s of the 20th century, as the supplement and subsidiary of the agricultural collective economy. It has played a special important role and influence during the period of the agricultural collectivization. In this paper, I have studied the development, historical inevitability, historical role and impact of the Individual Plot system detaily.On this basis, I summarize the inspirations of the system on the current reforming of Chinese rural land system.The first part is the introduction, briefly describes the topics of the origin of paper, reviewed the recent academic status and results in the study of the individual plot system, then define some related concepts of the system.The second part is the text.It includes three chapters.The first chapter mainly discuss the history of the individual plot detaily.It mainly includes the emergence, initial institutionalization, tortuous development, hard existence and restored development and status.It continued from 50s of the 20th century to the present, focusing on the analysis of the tortuous development of the system.The second chapter is about the theoretical analysis of the system. The first part is about the Relatively high yield and its causes, including the advantages of the system and the existence of the collective agricultural regime; The second part is the historical necessity of Individual Plot system, including the needs of farmers, the lack of the collective agricultural economy, the backward level of productivity, the impact of historical traditions; The third part described the impact of the history of the Individual Plot system, including the efforts on farmers'life, the positive and negative effects on the agricultural collective economic system as well as the inspirations of the system on the current reforming of Chinese rural land system.The third chapter is about the conclusions.
