The Research Under The Competition Perspective On Asian Monetary Cooperation Mechanisms And Measures

With the increasing exchange of international trade and economic communication, Asia and the world monetary cooperation has achieved initial progress. Meanwhile, the functions of money has breakthrough the national boundarics. More and more money begins to have the international competition. It is inevitably to occur monetary competition phenomenon. The currency competition between nations is a game. In the foreseeable future, the game will continue to exist.By analyzing the Asian currency cooperation, in the first two parts of the paper we first summarizc the Asian currencies' theoretical foundation and development situation. In the Asia area, China and Japan both are the world's top three economy nations. We analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the two countries and the competition results will be leading the future trend of regional monetary pattern in reality. In the third part of this paper, We analyses the essence reason of the monetary competition. Economic complementarities is the precondition of cooperation and competition. The countries will expand the market share of the cake through cooperation. Nations can achieve higher level of utility through the competition. So the cooperation is a lower level than the monetary competition. In the fourth part, We mainly analyses the defects and deficiencies in the existing cooperative mechanism. We discusses a new framework of competition and cooperation mechanism. A. fair, reasonable and effective cooperation mechanism can maximize the revenue of the regional monetary cooperation. At the same time, Introducing competition mechanism can make the regional countries getting more income from the distribution. There are no dispute at all. A perfect cooperative competition mechanism should include goal-directed mechanism because it promote the carnings scale to a higher level. It will also include interests distribution mechanism. Because it has the ability to avoid problems in the existing phenomenon. Give suggestions to increase our country's currency competition. On the one hand, we can build a RMB foreign funds pool. On the other hand we can establishes a convertible currency area through China and its neighbor countries. We can use every means to promote RMB internationalization gradually. China should adopt a market-leading strategies to anticipate the currency competition. We should maintain a clear understanding of the immaturity conditions. It is necessary to monitor the risk. China should strength cooperation and coordination in the regional countries. The most important thing is to improve our financial markets.
