M company is a manufacturing and sales company belonging to the typical labor-intensive enterprises in Anhui Province of China. This company started from producing and selling flooring in 2001 and then began business in solid wood furniture production in 2005. After several years'development, it has become an influential domestic famous enterprise in the Anhui Area. However, the company's business performance has been ordinary with gradually slow development in recent years, although the corporate assets and employees have expanded remarkably. Meanwhile, the staff has showed negative attitude to their company's operating and brain drain appeared in some departments of the company, especially the loss of highly skilled personnel in selling and technology sections, which has deeply impacted on the company's development and product innovation. In this case, the author analyzed the existing problems inside the company's compensation system and put forward a more efficient and reliable compensation system according to the actual situation of the company's development, by combining theoretical study and practical experience. Therefore, designing a set of practical and reasonable valid salary system according to the actual situation of the company is the focus of this paper.Compensation management is important. Therefore, a rational design for a compensation system, which directly relates to the fair of enterprise inside as well as the competition to the outside, is a basic component in establishing modern enterprise compensation management system. A well designed compensation system directly relates with organization's strategic plan, thus enables the staff to concentrate on promoting their company's competition in the market. This paper endeavored to manifest the practical significance in compensation system design for M company according to the theory of compensation management.
