Research On The Core Competence System Of Transportation Equipment Manufacturing Industry In Northeast China

Transportation equipment manufacturing industry is very important in a country or region's industrialization process, whose core competence, to a large extent, represents the level of equipment manufacturing industry of a country or region. A country or region which takes the new road of industrialization must have the rapid increase of the core competence of transportation equipment manufacturing as the support. In recent years, transportation equipment manufacturing industry has maintained a high speed development, in particular, the automobile industry, ship manufacturing and aerospace manufacturing industries. As China's old industrial base, heavy industry in Northeast China is well developed. Transportation equipment manufacturing industry in Northeast China has developed very rapidly, and made brilliant achievements in recent years. However, there are some unsatisfactory aspects, such as small-scale industries, the product structure is irrational. Therefore, how to develop transportation equipment manufacturing in Northeast China rapidly is becoming a very important issue.This dissertation first describes the definition, characteristics, function, the development status and problems, research on it that at home and abroad, and the theoretical basis of transportation equipment manufacturing industry. Based on the comparative advantage theory, the competitive advantage theory and the core competence theory, this dissertation analyzes the forming mechanism of regional equipment manufacturing industry. This dissertation analyzes sources and formation process of core competence of regional equipment manufacturing industry, and identifies the key influencing factors of core competence of regional equipment manufacturing industry. This dissertation analyzes on the core competence of transportation equipment manufacturing industry in Northeast China, designs the core competence system of it, and analyzes on its operating mechanism. Finally, this dissertation collects relevant data and selects the principal component analysis. There is an empirical analysis of the automobile manufacturing industry in Jilin province. Training strategy of its core competence is proposed. Through the study of the core competence system of transportation equipment manufacturing industry in Northeast China, understanding its development status, advantages and problems, this dissertation hopes to contribute to bring into play comparative advantages of transportation equipment manufacturing industry in Northeast China, generates competitive advantages quickly, and enhances its core competence. This dissertation hopes to provide scientific guidance in theory and decision-making basis for the sustainable, healthy, cohesive and rapid development of transportation equipment manufacturing industry in Northeast China.
