| Yi Chang, the domain of the centre, as a bridgehead connecting the west and east,is very important regional centre city,which is the edge of the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze river.It is also the important goods transfer station of the middle,east and southwest. Because of the building of Three Gorges Project, it has an affect on the blocking-up of Yangtze river shipping line in various degrees, furthermore, The transport service of Three Gorges Dam site can't meet the growing demand. Once it held up by a large-scale fleet and supplies and will not only cause traffic jam,impact on our economic in the three gorges area, but directly affect the efficiency of Yangtze river shipping and development of economic and social in the upper and middle reaches. Development of Three Gorges logistics Centre may be turned to solve problems in logistics from a higher level to ensure unblocked. And road transportation and logistics of the goods as important part of the logistics centre will build up an important role, and how to play basic role of goods shipping thus promoting the development of modern logistics will be the focus of research and direction.Investigation on freightage and the present situation of logistics in Yi Chang.
