As the popularization of automotive, people are becoming more and more sensitive about oil price. And as a result, the Photovoltaic concept starts to attract people's attention. In recent years, some domestic photovoltaic companies like Suntech, YINLI and JA Solar develops rapidly which attracts a lot of investors. With these investors joining the industry, China has suddenly become world number one solar cell exporter. For several consecutive years, China exports more one third of world total solar sell output. Hence, a lot of domestic practitioner starts to believe China is strong in photovoltaic industry. But is it really like that?It is not the output but the key competitiveness that decides whether or not a country is strong in certain field. And unfortunately, key competitiveness is exactly what a lot of Chinese products are short of. So most of the times, we can only define our products as made in China rather than created in China.As a matter of fact, domestic photovoltaic industry has been in China for less than 10 years. During this time, the photovoltaic industry grew rapidly. But, compare to other industries like automotive and electronics, photovoltaic industry is still far from mature. As a result, innovative companies have more opportunities and risks at the same time. The writer has witnessed a lot of successful and unsuccessful cases from bother there are a lot to learn. So, in this essay, innovative company's current status and real life difficulties are discussed and counter actions are forwarded accordingly. Eventually, these counter actions are used and tested in Company SC.The writer's consultant job in SC started early in 2008 before the financial crisis so most of the counter actions are done by now. Some are effective and some are not. But at least on thing can be concluded from these actions. Different companies or companies in different places of their own life cycle need different strategies. For example, in early years of domestic photovoltaic industry, some partitioner used similar operation methods used in semiconductor industry which is considered to be similar. The result turned out to be poor. Several years later, as the photovoltaic grew, it become similar to semiconductor industry in certain places. As a result, the operation methods again applied in photovoltaic turned out to be successful.Now, let's come back to the question forwarded earlier. In order to achieve created in China, enterprises need to be innovative. But there are diversions. Innovative enterprises can choose to reach for their own good or they can reach and make their result into a product. Since the domestic photovoltaic industry is not yet mature, there are still a lot of opportunities out there. However, reaches should never be unleaded by market demand, they should be carried out tightly according to market demand. A strong marketing team should greatly add to the success of an innovative company. SC has been proved to successful. I wish the module can be copied can more similar company will step forward to help achieve created in China.
