The Research On Consolidated Delivery Vehicles Demand For Urban Logistics In The Forward And Backward Way

Logistic distribution is developing in the orientation of modernization and high efficiency. Meanwhile, backward logistics has rapidly established and developed with the aim of resource reuse and proper handling with wastes. However, in a long term forward and backward logistics have been regarded as two independent operating systems, which results in a huge waste of all kinds of resources. Therefore, the research on consolidated delivery combined the forward and the backward way is of great theoretical and practical significance to integrate logistics resource of corporations and improve economic benefit.With the problem of consolidated delivery transportation combining the forward logistic distribution and the backward logistics integration as the research object, on the basis of interpreting the research background, purpose, meaning and the research status at home and abroad, the paper analyses the classification and characteristics of the forward and backward logistic delivery, and study the integration of the forward and backward logistic delivery and transporting logistic node setting. Besides, the author analyses and studies the need of consolidated delivery vehicles for urban logistics in the forward and backward way. According to forward logistic vehicles demand model, the vehicles demand model of consolidated delivery for urban logistics in the forward and backward way is to be established. Based on the already existing parameters and restricted conditions, relevant parameters and restricted conditions of backward logistics will be added and solving steps will be listed accordingly. Finally, stimulate the model of consolidated delivery vehicles demand for urban logistics in the forward and backward way and the solving steps by examples, and analyze the results to prove the scientific and feasibility of the theoretical research outcome.The purpose of this paper is to provide a scientific calculation method of vehicle distribution in an economic and proper way by research on the need of consolidated delivery vehicles for urban logistics in the forward and backward way, and ultimately reduce the operating cost of corporations and improve their economic benefit. The contents and results of this research can provide experience and theoretical guidance for the corporations engaged in logistics in practice.
