The Study Of The Approaches And Methods Of College Tourism Major To Implement Environmental Education

The environment is an important support for the development of tourism.A good ecological environment can improve the quality of tourism resources,aesthetic values and tourism environment comfort. Long-term development of tourism as a whole,as lack of environmental professionals, environmental awareness and knowledge of tourism practitioners,it caused the damage of tourism resources and its environment.To make sustainable use of tourism resource and promote sustainable tourism development, to attract more and more tourists, to foster the image of China's tourism industry with a good environment and high-quality personnel services,to improve the competitiveness of China's tourism industry, training high-quality talents becomes an inevitable trend.Healthy and sustainable development of tourism needs high-quality personnel,especially those with a certain environmental awareness and knowledge.Education as an important way to improve the quality is increasingly recognized by society.College tourism major as a example of this paper,it researches and explores approaches and methods to strengthen environmental education.The characteristics of environmental education in the university is including inter-disciplinary,diversity and practice.And the goals of environmental education are stimulating the students'environmental awareness,forming the proper concept of environment,broadening students'environmental knowledge,enhancing students'environmental skills,promoting student to develop their environmental behavior.Thinking about the characteristics and goal of environmental education,to strenthen environmental education,I suggest such approaches and methods:Raise students'awareness and knowledge of environmental law of environmental law;optimize the structure of environmental education curriculum,for example, increasing to set environmental courses;enhance construction of the teaching materials of environmental education;improve the teaching model of environmental education;adopt flexible and diverse teaching methods;train the full-time teachers well.Carry out environmental practices;hold environmental education commemorative activities;involve in construction of environment;enhance the construction of equipment and facilities of environmental education.I hope these approaches and methods can be able to promote the of environmental education in universities.
