At present, the phenomenon of consumer society is becoming more and more significant in some western capitalist countries. The arrival of economic globalization can make closer interpersonal contact and also makes the culture of consumer society spread all over the world through various channels. Although China is still a developing country, western culture of consumer society has an effect on our production and life, and is an important aspect that affects people's spiritual world. Consumption keeps human's survival and development. Spiritual world also is very important to person's development, so the construction of spiritual civilization has already become inevitable in the development of society. The study of people's spiritual world in consumer society has important value in theory and practice. The analysis of consumer society's theory and social reality in western developed countries can provide theoretical basis of correct thoughts about the problems.
