The Study On The Governance Of Multinational Corporation

With the increasing of the economic globalization, the position of the multinational companies in the national economy has become more and more important, and the multinational companies is the mainstay of countries which are competing for the international market in the competition of comprehensive national strength between the countries from the world. The quantity, scale, competition strength of the multinational company in a country will directly affect or even determine the country's national competitiveness. At the same time, the rise of the multinational companies has changed the international economic relations in which the international trade was the main body in the past, and it made production and market realize the true sense of globalization. But how to use proper governance to ensure the healthy growth of the multinational companies has among the topic that the corporate governance theory need to solve as soon as possible. This thesis is based on the theory of corporation government. And it uses the traditional analyzed model of the corporate government performance and puts the research on the corporation government performance into the specific framework of the multinational companies. And in view of the current governance of the multinational enterprises in our country, it analyzes the related factors that influence the government performance.This thesis adopts the research methods of the combination of theoretical and empirical analysis. In the theoretical part, it analyzes the specificity of the multinational corporation governance comparing with the general corporate governance. Because of the multinational enterprise's business involving different countries and being effected by different political, economic and cultural environment factors, the multinational corporation governance problem has became more complicated. In the part of empirical research, it uses principal component analysis method, the partial correlation analysis method and other methods. According to the theoretical results, it selects the indicators and important factors of the multinational governance performance, and takes the 10 relatively mature large multinational corporations' data from 2007 to 2009 in the China as studied object for the analysis of statistical tests. Finally, based on the above results, it gives some recommendations to improve the performance of multinational governance in China.
