Logistics Industry In Shandong Province, Layout Optimization

Modern logistics which integrates transport, storage, loading and unloading, handling, carrying, packaging and processing is one kind of the new services. Its core concepts are to protrude system integration; it is a new organization and management technology of the socialized production. It involves many fields, takes in wide ranges of employment and promotes production and consumption. It has many senses to speed up the industrial structure adjustment, the transformation of the mode of economic development and enhance the competitiveness of national economy.Shandong's economy booms fast, it provides favorable economic environments for the development of logistics industry. Exploring the logistics industrial potential and optimizing the logistics industrial layout has become a key point to the economy development. Shandong province has relatively complete industrial categories and chain. It wants to promote the further upgrade; the inevitable requirement is the layout of logistics industry to meet the needs of economic development. Shandong province has traffic, location and industry advantages, but now the logistics industrial layout shows obviously the characteristics of territorialization and departmentalization. Due to the influence of local protectionism, when each city makes plans for the logistics industrial layout, they only start from the economy development of the region where they are, this narrow thoughts cause enormous wastes of many logistics resources. With the acceleration of industrial development in Shandong province, how to have a comprehensive and reasonable layout become the key questions. This thesis aims to use objective, systemic and scientific methods, analyze the present situation of logistics industry in Shandong province's layout, probe the connotation of logistics industry's layout optimization and finally propose framework for the actual and specific layout optimization scheme.Shandong province optimizes the logistics industrial layout, which has great strategic significance to optimize the allocation of resources, reduce logistics cost, improve the efficiency of logistics services and accelerate economic development. Start form this strategic significance, this paper researches optimization problems of the logistics industrial layout. The basic framework is as follows:first, in the second chapter, it introduces the history and development of the theory of industrial layout, and summarizes the domestic and overseas scholars'research achievements; Second, in the third chapter, it analyses the status quo of the development of logistics industry in Shandong province with SWOT analysis, finds out the main problems which exist in the logistics industrial layout and the main influencing factors; Third, in the fourth chapter, combining with Shandong province's "the 11th five-year plan" and "the 12th five-year plan" of modern logistics development planning, it lays down the overall objectives and targets of Shandong logistics industrial layout optimization, then uses the method and model of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to get the main factors which have influence on the logistics industrial layout optimization, in the last part, it gives realizing ways of the logistics industrial layout optimization; Finally, it summarizes the results of this paper and presents relative policy suggestions in the last chapter.
