Correspondingly, as the core of human capital, they are impelling innovation, the core competitive advantage, and sustainable development of enterprises. In domestic community, related studies on salaries of top executives are quite new topic without enough achievements. Seldom can we find related empirical studies, not mention studies on expected salary's influential factors. The study on salary influence factors of top executives experienced the development process from simple factor analysis to multi factor analysis; from simple theoretical research to empirical and comprehensive study; from single model research to multivariable models in-depth research. And during the process, more scientific methods are adapted and more theories concerning economy and management have been proved in practice which greatly enriches and improves the study on factor system. However, very few scholars study expected salary relative to the actual compensation. Expected salary is the expectation of its price of human capital, it has a strong subjectivity and confidentiality. In fact, expected salary has a great significant in attracting and retaining the talents in practices of enterprises'human resource management. For example, expected salary is the key if the employees are willing to join in and the benchmark if they satisfy their actual compensation. The thesis focuses on the influence factors of expected salary, chooses the most important of four posts in organizational structure be a research object in Shanghai:human resource director, finance director, technical director and marketing director,577 valid samples are selected:153 financial directors,186 human resource directors,170 marketing directors and 79 technical directors, rejecting the incomplete samples from 300,000 CV of Shanghai companies'top talents pool.Statistical analysis show that the expected salary is relevant to companies industry field, companies types, working years, education level (degree and the graduate school), English level, overseas study experience, overseas working experience, and current salary of top executives.
