Since the introduction of the concept of international competitiveness, the scholars in various countries began to study the criteria and evaluation methods. Iron and steel industry as the basic raw material industry of national economy, known as the industry's "skeleton." As an important pillar industry, steel industry is to accelerate the industrialization of the leading industry in economic development has an important position. Based on the steel industry index commonly used to analyze, then control the steel industry in developed countries, come to our country's international competitiveness is not strong steel industry, and further analysis the various reasons which influence the international competitiveness of China's steel industry, including how to control this resource products, iron ore trade pricing, industrial concentration, excess capacity, industry structure and other issues. Soaring iron ore prices in recent years made China's steel industry in a very passive situation, which also revealed many of t problems that persistence in domestica, in order to change the status quo and achieve real steel power,and realize our world dream, there are a lot of work should do in China. This article summarizes the materials of previous, analysis international competitiveness of our country from the multiple perspectives which influence the international competitiveness of China's steel industry in all aspects, and put forward corresponding policies and measures of the steel industry which enhance international competitiveness, to improve China's steel industry, other than the addition to the international competitiveness of industries to achieve the overall development of the industry so that our country can truly become an industrial power, and enter into the ranks of developed countries...
